Phase 1: Structural Assembly & Insulation
As you can see in the “Installation Process” photo, building a freestanding unit inside a massive warehouse requires heavy-duty structural support. We utilized high-grade, interlocking insulated metal panels for the walls and ceiling. This provides excellent insulation, ensuring that the cold air stays perfectly trapped inside, which reduces the workload on the compressor and saves the client money on energy bills.
Phase 2: Custom Interior & Observation Windows
Not all cold rooms are just solid white boxes. For this project in Maple, the client required visibility into the cold room from the main warehouse floor. As shown in the “Interior View” photos, we seamlessly integrated three large, insulated observation windows into the paneling. These multi-pane windows are specially sealed to prevent condensation and thermal leaks while allowing staff to monitor inventory without constantly opening the doors.
Phase 3: Heavy-Duty Access Doors
A cold room is only as efficient as its seal. We installed a heavy-duty, commercial-grade Cold Room Door equipped with industrial hinges and precision gaskets.
